Terms of use
Effective date: October 26, 2026
In short. Wanderreel turns the travel posts you share into places you can keep and plan with. It is free to use with a monthly allowance; Wanderreel Plus is an optional subscription that raises it. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in Google Play. What Wanderreel reads and plans is a starting point: check opening hours, prices and safety before you go.
Who we are, and what you agree to
Wanderreel is made by The Digital Doctor LLC (United States) (“we”). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live (or have a parent or guardian agree for you).
What Wanderreel does
You share a link, screenshots or a screen recording of a travel post. Our server reads it with an AI model and checks the places on Google Maps, and you decide which to keep. Kept places can be grouped into trips, planned into days, shared with other people, and opened in Google Maps. An account is optional; without one your places stay on your phone.
What you share
- Share only things you are allowed to share. Do not use Wanderreel to read private, illegal or harmful content, or content that belongs to someone else and that you have no right to copy.
- The posts you share belong to their creators and to the services they appear on (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and others). Wanderreel keeps the places found in them, with a short note of where they came from and a link back; it is not a way to copy or republish the posts themselves.
- Your notes, trips and plans are yours. You give us the right to store and process them only so that the app can work for you, as the privacy policy describes.
Results can be wrong
Places, photos, plans, opening times and travel times are produced by software that reads posts and asks Google Maps and Wikipedia. It can pick the wrong place, miss one, or suggest a plan that does not suit you, and what was true of a place when it was posted may have changed. Wanderreel gives no guarantee that a result is correct, open, safe or available. You are responsible for your travel decisions: check with the place, follow local rules and use your own judgement.
Other people and shared trips
- If you invite someone to a trip, they can see it, and if you let them edit it, they can change it. You can remove them at any time; what they already saw or copied is out of our hands.
- A trip’s owner can delete it for everyone in it. If you leave a trip, you stop seeing it.
- Be considerate. Do not use shared trips to harass anyone or to share content you should not.
Wanderreel Plus
- What it is. An optional subscription that raises your monthly allowance and unlocks features marked Plus in the app. The price, the billing period (monthly or yearly), any free trial and what is included are shown in the app and in Google Play before you buy. Prices may differ by country and include taxes where they apply.
- Payment and renewal. You buy and pay through Google Play. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. We never see your card.
- Trip Pass. Instead of a subscription you can buy a Trip Pass: one payment for one month of Plus, for a trip you are planning. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel; it simply ends. Everything else on this page about Plus, allowances and refunds applies to it too.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time in Google Play (Menu, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions) or from Settings in the app, which opens it. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your Wanderreel account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in Google Play first.
- Refunds. Google Play handles payments and refunds, under its own policies. We do not give refunds ourselves beyond what the law or Google Play requires.
- Free trial. If a trial is offered, the app and Google Play say how long it lasts and what it costs after; cancel before it ends to avoid being charged.
- Your account. Plus belongs to the Wanderreel account you were signed in to when you bought it. You can restore it on another phone by signing in to the same account and choosing Restore purchases.
- Allowances. Free and Plus allowances (for example, how many posts you can read, plans you can build or places you can search for in a month) are shown in the app. They exist because each read and plan costs us money. We may change them, and when we do we will say so in the app.
Fair use
Do not misuse the service: no automated or bulk use, no attempts to get around allowances or limits, to break or probe our servers, to read other people’s data, or to use the app for anything unlawful. We may limit or stop use that harms the service or other people.
Third-party services
Wanderreel relies on others: Google (sign-in, Maps, Play), Anthropic (reading posts and planning), Wikipedia and Wikimedia (photos), Supabase (hosting), and the services whose posts you share. Their own terms apply to what they provide. Instagram, TikTok and YouTube may change or block how posts can be read at any time, and we cannot promise that any link will work; screenshots and screen recordings are the dependable way.
Our work and yours
The app, its design and its code belong to us or our licensors, and you may use them only as these terms allow. Photos shown in the app belong to their photographers and keep the credit shown with them.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may change, pause or end features, and we may update these terms. When they change in a way that matters, the new version is posted here with a new effective date and the app’s What’s new says so. Using the app after that means you accept the changes; if you do not, stop using it and delete your account.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time: Settings → Account → Delete my account deletes your account (see the account deletion page). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or the law. The parts of these terms that by their nature should survive (for example the limits on our responsibility) do.
No warranty, and limits on our responsibility
Wanderreel is provided “as is”, without promises that it will always work, be error-free or be available. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from relying on the app’s results, from trips planned with it, from third-party services, or from data lost because a phone was lost or reset, and our total responsibility to you for anything connected with the app is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited, or responsibility that cannot be excluded.
