Delete your Wanderreel account
Wanderreel works without an account. If you signed in with Google to keep trips in an account or share them, you can delete that account and what our server keeps for it at any time.
In the app
- Open Wanderreel and go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete my account.
- Read what will happen and tap Delete.
It happens at once, and it can't be undone.
Without the app
Email privacy@wanderreel.app from the Google address you signed in with, asking us to delete your account. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account: your Google email, name and photo as Wanderreel stored them.
- Trips you own, with their places and plans, for everyone you shared them with. The people in them keep the copy on their own phones.
- Your membership of trips other people shared with you.
What stays
- Places you added to someone else's trip stay in their trip, without your name.
- Trips and places on your own phone stay there, no longer in any account. To remove them, use Settings → Delete everything saved, or uninstall the app.
- What Wanderreel found in a link you shared is cached for up to 30 days so the same link reads faster. The cache is kept by link, not by person, so it is not tied to your account.
